Auction
It is with regret that we are going to have to cancel our plans to hold an auction as discussed previously. Unfortunately, we were struggling to get any support for it. We may look at this again sometime in the future.

Club Champs
We are delighted with the entries for the Mixed Doubles and are looking forward to some keenly contested matches. Just a reminder that the Singles entry sheet is now up and entries close Feb 24th.

Interclub
It is with great pleasure that I can now confirm that after the recent round of matches, Presidents 1 have already sealed promotion into Presidents A for next season. That's with still 3 rounds to play, so that's an outstanding effort. They are also going to win the grade, and it is only a matter of time before this happens. So congratulations to Ian's team and all the players involved including reserves, as they have all played their part in what has been an outstanding season for them and the club.

Also, as mentioned previously, Kamal's singles team are on track to achieve promotion as well, and they will hopefully take another step towards this on Saturday. As mentioned earlier, the play off date is March 27th, so keep this date free, as we would love to send a support crew to help get the boys over the line if they make that final. I'm confident they will, but I will keep you updated on their progress.

Given our Interclub success to date, and there could be more to come, I am thinking about some celebrations, so I will keep you posted on this.

Dates For Your Dairy
Saturday March 20th - We are planning a St Patricks Day social at the club and more details to follow.

Sun April 11th - Gail Appleton Memorial Tournament.

Open Day
Don't forget Open Day on 14 February from 1pm until 4pm. This is the second national Tennis Open Day and we need your support.

Please find time to come down and help out. We need people to act as hitting partners for members of the public who are looking to join.

If the Committee members are occupied you may be asked to greet the public as they arrive and to explain how the club works and the benefits we can provide.

This is your chance to give something back to the Club. We’re only asking for a couple of hours of your time and you might even get a free sausage!
